As the weather warms up, hold on, the weather is not warming up at all. The last couple of weeks have been filled with gusting winds, snow flurries and rain. While the weather is dampening my spirits, the dogs are loving the cool weather. Mama kitty has had her kittens and fluffers is looking like she’s due any day. Fuzzybutt, the youngest cat has found a new friend – a fox. Apparently they were chasing each other back and forth across the road. Fuzzybutt can’t be more than eight pounds, if that. She’s got spunk and apparently is running the show out at the kennel.

While the dogs have been behaving, sleeping and enjoying a bit of rest, I’ve been able to spend a lot more one on one time with each of them, which means I get tons of snuggles every day I’m out there. There is nothing so horrible in the world, it can’t be made better by the smile on a dog’s face or the wag of a tail, when they are excited to see you. It’s amazing how much animals become part of your life. I consider the dogs out there part of my family and some of the closest friends I have.
