As spring time comes around, we like to say people lose their minds a little. Somehow, jeans become common gear even though there’s snow and slush all around. I think the weather makes people dreamy and they pay more attention to the world around them and a little less to their dog sledding team.

I spent Wednesday May 10th, at the Harry E James School in Hopewell Virginia, talking to over 300 students from kindergarten to first grade about dog sledding. The kids were all attentive and had some wonderful questions. [...]

Every year we lose a few good workers at the end of February and into March. B-bear had his knee hurt and now Beagle has left us. He was offered a job in Arizona that he couldn’t turn down. It was sad to see him go, but we had a great party the night before. [...]
