Toes were burning until I stuck on some toasty toes and all felt better. E-bear and I went out with four sleds, and I was determined not to get my sled stuck, as I was feeling E-bear would start to dread going out with me. All went smoothly, with the typical requests to let the dogs run as fast as they can, can we pass the team in front of us, etc, to which they all got a resounding ‘NO!’
We did have one woman tip going around a corner. She had the brakes pushed down to hard which cuts the corner. To be able to swing the sled to the outside of the trail, you need to let up on the brakes a bit and shift your weight to the outside of the corner. E-bear got her up safely and the rest of the trip was smoothe.
