Cold mornings have been giving way to sunshiny days. I haven’t had my jacket on for more than a few hours. It’s been wonderful. We had one sled in the am, which Brian took out alone, while I did chores. When he got back, we collared puppies who are now about 7 months old and took them out to the line for the first time.

The shock for them at seeing so many adult dogs was apparant in the squirming and wriggling I experienced as i was trying to carry them out. Three pulled out of their collars immediately, but came to us pretty quickly and we got them sorted out. Lots of fresh hay was put into their homes for a warm night’s sleep and I gave them a little extra food for thier first night in new surroundings.
